Your servers are hosted in Lyon-Vénissieux or Grenoble, and you can access them. ASN Cloud installs its racks in two partner datacenters; any work on your hardware is done by appointment, accompanied by our team, never unaccompanied.
For users in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, regional hosting shortens the network path between your sites and your servers. Our two sites are interconnected at 10 Gb/s by the AS204948 network, and each can act as the disaster recovery site for the other.
With a regional host, you talk to the team that operates the infrastructure. At ASN Cloud, your requests are handled by qualified technicians, by email or by phone, with no chatbot and no intermediary.
Your data is hosted in France, in our hosting facilities in Lyon-Vénissieux and Grenoble. ASN Cloud is a brand of ASN NET SASU, a company governed by French law.
ASN Cloud relies on the AS204948 network operated by ASN NET, monitored 24/7. Internet connectivity goes through several transit providers; the connection to France-IX Lyon is being deployed, with opening planned for late 2026.
The limits
A regional host is not a hyperscaler. Here is what you will not find at ASN Cloud.
ASN Cloud does not offer the range of managed services of the hyperscalers: databases, message queues, serverless functions or turnkey AI services. Our catalogue is focused: servers, colocation, backup and storage, telecom and network security.
Our infrastructure is hosted on two sites, in Lyon-Vénissieux and Grenoble. If your users are spread across several continents, or if your data must be hosted outside France, a provider present in several regions of the world will meet that need better.
We do not offer a service credit scheme comparable to that of the hyperscalers. Our contractual restoration commitments apply to the telecom offers, such as the 4 business-hour restoration time (GTR) of FTTO.
Our team is small: support answers by email and by phone during business hours. Extended support is available on quote; the network itself is monitored continuously.
Who is it for?
No category wins on every criterion. Hyperscalers offer the managed catalogue, global presence, financial SLAs and automation. Large national hosts offer volume and low entry prices. A regional host offers proximity and a direct point of contact.

You describe your needs through the contact form, by email or by phone. A technician answers and asks the relevant questions.
We propose a configuration and a written quote, with prices excluding VAT and any commitment period. For fibre, an eligibility study comes before the quote. Several services can also be ordered directly online: VPS, 3CX, backup, ASN Drive.
We deliver the service on the chosen site, Lyon-Vénissieux or Grenoble, and send you your access details.
You keep the same point of contact: support during business hours, a customer area for your services and invoices, a network monitored continuously.
FAQ
Not inherently: reliability depends on the infrastructure and on how it is operated, not on the size of the provider. At ASN Cloud, racks have A+B power feeds, with UPS units and a generator, and the network is monitored around the clock. The two sites, interconnected at 10 Gb/s, can back each other up. On the other hand, we do not offer a hyperscaler-grade financial SLA; FTTO comes with a 4 business-hour restoration time (GTR).
Yes. Most of our offers have no commitment and are billed monthly. Only the half rack and full rack in colocation (36 months) and FTTO (12 or 36 months) carry a commitment. We use standard technologies (KVM via Proxmox VE, Debian, Ubuntu) that you will find at other hosting providers.
