Where is this service hosted?
In our regional datacenters in Lyon and Grenoble, operated by ASN NET SASU. Your data stays exclusively in France.
What is the uptime commitment?
We target 99.9% uptime over the year, measured monthly.
How does technical support work?
Our engineers are reachable by email (contact@asncloud.fr) and by phone during business hours. Extended 24/7 support is available on request.
Is there a minimum commitment period?
Not by default: our plans come with no commitment and monthly billing. 12- or 36-month commitments are available with preferential rates.
What is the difference between a VPS and a dedicated server?
A VPS is a virtual machine that shares physical hardware with other instances on the same host, isolated through KVM virtualization. A dedicated server reserves an entire physical machine for you. The VPS is ideal for web projects, business applications and development environments, with delivery in minutes and flexible pricing. A dedicated server is suited to heavy workloads, large databases or hosting your own hypervisor.
Which hypervisor do you use?
All our VPS run on KVM, an open-source hypervisor widely adopted across the industry. Each VPS gets full isolation in terms of CPU, memory and storage, with resources reserved according to your plan.
What is the delivery time?
Your VPS instances are provisioned automatically and delivered within minutes after your order is confirmed. You receive your credentials by email as soon as the instance is ready.
Which operating systems are supported?
We offer Debian, Ubuntu and MikroTik RouterOS with automated installation. Any other custom image (Rocky Linux, AlmaLinux, Windows Server, your own ISO image, etc.) is available on request.
Can I scale up resources (CPU, RAM, storage) after ordering?
Yes. You can upgrade to a higher plan at any time from your customer area, with a brief downtime to restart the instance. You can also add extra storage, additional IPv4 addresses or switch to NVMe disks as needed.
Do I have root access on my VPS?
Yes. You get full root SSH access to your VPS from delivery, via the SSH key provided at order time or the password sent on handover. You are free to install, configure and administer your system as you wish.
