Where is this service hosted?

What is the uptime commitment?

We target 99.9% uptime over the year, measured monthly.

What exactly is 3CX?

3CX is a SIP-based software solution for business phone systems (PBX). It lets you manage your VoIP calls, traditional PSTN lines, video conferencing and team messaging from a single platform, accessible via browser, desktop and mobile apps. Your users get internal extensions, call transfers, voice menus (IVR) and call recording.

Is the 3CX license included in the price?

No. Our plans cover the hosting of the 3CX solution (dedicated VPS, OS, network infrastructure, backups, anti-DDoS) but not the 3CX software license itself. A free license is available directly from 3CX for up to 10 extensions; beyond that you need a 3CX subscription (BASIC, PRO or IA depending on your needs) at https://www.3cx.fr/commander/tarifs/. The customer chooses and purchases their license separately.

Can I port my existing phone numbers?

Yes, through your SIP provider. Phone numbers (SIP trunks) are not included in our plans: you can use our IP Transit offer combined with an external SIP provider, or any other SIP provider of your choice. Number porting is handled directly with your SIP provider, independently of the hosting infrastructure.

How many extensions can I configure?

The number of extensions depends on the 3CX license you choose from 3CX, not on the hosting plan. The free 3CX license supports up to 10 extensions. Beyond that, the 3CX BASIC, PRO or IA subscriptions unlock more extensions and features depending on the tier. Our hosting plans size the infrastructure (CPU, RAM, concurrent calls) to handle the corresponding load.

Is there a minimum commitment period?

No, our 4 3CX VoIP plans come with no commitment and monthly billing. You can change plans or cancel at any time from your customer portal.

What is the provisioning lead time?

The dedicated VPS with 3CX preinstalled is delivered within 24 to 72 business hours after order validation, depending on the plan chosen. You receive your SSH credentials, the 3CX administration URL and the initial logins by email.

What level of support do you offer?

Our plans cover support for the hosting infrastructure only: VPS, Debian OS, network, daily backups, anti-DDoS protection and delivery of a VM with 3CX pre-installed. That is the limit of our scope. Support for the operation, use, configuration and administration of the 3CX solution (extensions, IVR, call queues, SIP trunks, CRM integrations, user training, application troubleshooting, etc.) is not included: it is the responsibility of the customer, their certified 3CX consultant or paid 3CX support. We can, however, carry out certain 3CX services on request or recommend a partner.

Who configures and administers the 3CX solution?

ASN CLOUD delivers a VM with 3CX preinstalled and provides the initial access credentials at order time (SSH root + 3CX administration URL). From there, full 3CX administration (creating extensions, configuring SIP trunks, setting up IVRs and queues, managing users, application backups, 3CX updates, etc.) is your responsibility or that of your 3CX consultant. Our commitment covers the proper operation of the underlying infrastructure (VPS, OS, network, anti-DDoS, system backups). Any work on the 3CX application can be ordered as a custom quote or entrusted to a certified 3CX partner.
