FTTO

An operator fibre physically dedicated to your site, technically P2P (point-to-point), not shared like FTTH. The bandwidth you buy is contractually guaranteed, both upstream and downstream. Professional SLA with a 4 business-hour resolution time on major incidents. Suited to datacenters, headquarters and critical infrastructure that cannot tolerate outages or bandwidth variability.

How it works

Three steps to go from the eligibility request to provisioning.

  1. You tell us your address, desired bandwidth and commitment

Exact site address, target throughput (from the 9 tiers or custom), intended commitment term (12 or 36 months), and any options. 5 minutes via our eligibility form.

  2. Eligibility study and tailored proposal

We query the eligible infrastructure operators and send you, within 24-48 business hours, a complete proposal: available guaranteed bandwidth, final price, setup fee and precise delivery lead time.

  3. Service activation on average 8 to 12 weeks after signing

Coordination with the infrastructure operator, pulling of the dedicated fiber, Ethernet delivery to your equipment, IP configuration provided, and monitoring activated.

What sets us apart

Dedicated point-to-point fiber

Your fiber, your performance: no sharing, no network neighbors. Carrier-grade P2P technology guarantees stable bandwidth at any time.

Guaranteed symmetric bandwidth

The bandwidth you buy is the bandwidth you get, both upstream and downstream, contractually. Ideal for cloud, backup, ToIP and video conferencing.

4 business-hour SLA

Guaranteed restoration time of 4 business hours on major incidents. Suited to critical infrastructures that cannot tolerate downtime.

AS204948 sovereign network

A direct link on our AS, no opaque resale. Full visibility into routing and upstream peers. Lyon and Grenoble datacenters at the core of the network.

Suited to datacenters and headquarters

Designed for datacenter interconnection, headquarters and critical multi-site infrastructure with MPLS. BYOIP compatible via AS204948 or your own ASN.

Regional human support

A team of operators based in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, reachable directly. Proactive monitoring, priority intervention, no offshore hotline.

FTTH Pro vs FTTO - which offer should you choose?

Both services share the ASN CLOUD DNA (sovereign AS204948 network, Lyon and Grenoble datacenters, regional support) but address different needs.

Advanced solution

BYOIP - Announce your own prefixes

Do you have your own IPv4 or IPv6 block assigned by RIPE (or another RIR)? ASN CLOUD can announce it via BGP through AS204948, or through your own ASN if you have one. You retain ownership of your addresses and routing continuity between your sites - particularly relevant on FTTO for active/passive multi-homing and datacenter interconnection with RIPE prefixes.

  • Address continuity across your multi-carrier sites
  • Active/passive multi-homing with automatic BGP failover
  • No additional NAT, your exposed services keep their IP identity
  • Announced via AS204948 or via your own ASN
  • Compatible with IPv4 and IPv6 (RIPE, ARIN, APNIC, AFRINIC, LACNIC)
  • Transparent pricing: €20 IPv4, €10 IPv6 per month per block, plus €100 excl. VAT setup fee

Use cases

Which use cases to choose FTTO for

Registered office / main establishment

Guaranteed professional connectivity for a strategic site with intensive cloud usage, ToIP, multipoint video conferencing and business-critical applications.

Dedicated datacenter interconnect

P2P link between your infrastructure and our Lyon and Grenoble datacenters for cloud hybridization, active/passive disaster recovery or real-time replication.

Critical application with a strict SLA

Dedicated connectivity for applications that tolerate neither outages nor throughput variability (payments, industrial monitoring, telemedicine, broadcast).

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between FTTH Pro and FTTO?

FTTH Pro is shared (PON technology, multiple customers on the same fiber), with best-effort throughput depending on neighborhood usage and a 10 business-hour intervention time. FTTO is dedicated point-to-point: your physical fiber, your contractually guaranteed symmetrical throughput, and a 4h SLA. FTTH Pro is suitable for SMBs and offices, FTTO for datacenters, headquarters and critical infrastructure.

Why an 8 to 12 week lead time?

FTTO requires a dedicated physical connection from your address to our network core. Depending on the local infrastructure, this involves surveys, potential roadworks permits, fiber pulling and commissioning. The exact lead time is confirmed after the eligibility check.

How does the eligibility study work?

You send us the exact address, the target throughput and the intended commitment term. We query the infrastructure operators eligible in the area and, within 24-48 business hours, provide you with a complete response: eligibility, achievable throughput, final pricing, setup fee and delivery time.

What does the 4h SLA cover?

The contractual 4h business-hours SLA applies to any major incident affecting service restoration (network outage, fiber cut). It covers the intervention, the diagnosis and the return to service. A Premium 24/7 option with priority intervention is available on request for around-the-clock needs.

Why a 12 or 36-month commitment?

Dedicated FTTO infrastructure represents a connection investment (setup fee, infrastructure operator works) that pays off over time. The minimum commitment helps absorb this cost and offer an optimized monthly price. 36 months generally provides better pricing conditions.

Is my current equipment compatible?

Any professional firewall or router that accepts an Ethernet link over RJ45 or SFP/SFP+ with static IP configuration will work (Fortinet, Stormshield, Cisco, MikroTik, pfSense/OPNsense, etc.). For throughput ≥ 10 Gbps, an SFP+ or SFP28 port is required. Indicate your model in the eligibility request.

What happens in the event of a major outage?

Our team is alerted automatically by proactive monitoring. The 4h SLA (business hours) kicks in: diagnosis, coordination with the infrastructure operator if needed, regular progress updates. For service continuity in the event of a fiber outage, the 4G/5G Backup option is available (see the FTTH Pro page for technical details).

Can you provide telephony or TV?

No. ASN CLOUD specializes in professional data connectivity. For telephony, our customers use their own IPBX/SIP solutions on top of the data link. No TV or triple-play offering.

How does BYOIP work on FTTO?

If you have your own IPv4 or IPv6 block (RIPE or another RIR), we can announce it via BGP through our AS204948 or via your ASN. Prerequisites: an LoA and a valid prefix. Pricing: €20 excl. VAT/month per IPv4 block, €10 excl. VAT/month per IPv6 block, plus a one-off €100 excl. VAT setup fee.

Can I migrate my FTTO to you from another operator?

Porting an existing FTTO depends on the infrastructure operator and the contract currently in place with your present operator. Indicate your situation in the eligibility request, and we will study together the options for a coordinated migration to minimize service downtime.
