BYOIP - Announce your own prefixes
Do you have your own IPv4 or IPv6 block allocated by RIPE (or another RIR)? ASN CLOUD can announce it over BGP via AS204948, or via your own ASN if you have one. You retain ownership of your addresses and routing continuity between your sites - useful for active/passive multi-homing, exposing services or inter-operator portability without renumbering.

Frequently asked questions
What is the provisioning lead time?
It varies depending on the infrastructure operator at your address (Orange, Bouygues, Free, Axione, Altitude). Typically allow 2 to 6 weeks after signing, sometimes more depending on the complexity of the connection. The exact lead time is confirmed during the eligibility check.
How does the eligibility study work?
You send us the exact site address and your requirements (bandwidth, options). We query the eligible infrastructure operators in the area and provide a complete response within 24-48 business hours: eligibility, available bandwidth, exact price and delivery lead time.
What actual bandwidth can I expect from FTTH Pro?
FTTH Pro is a shared fibre (PON): several customers share the same fibre and throughput varies with neighbouring usage. In fibre-covered areas, it can reach up to 8 Gbps downstream depending on the operator's infrastructure; upstream throughput is asymmetric. The throughput available at your address is confirmed by the infrastructure operator during the eligibility assessment. What is guaranteed: the 10 business-hour intervention time (GTI). What is not: the throughput, which is best-effort. For contractually guaranteed symmetrical bandwidth, choose FTTO, a dedicated point-to-point fibre.
Why no ASN CLOUD box?
You already have a professional firewall, router or switch - forcing a box on you is an unnecessary constraint and a recurring cost. We deliver an Ethernet link to your equipment, and you manage routing and security as you see fit. If you have no equipment, we offer a router as an option, paid once.
Is my current equipment (firewall) compatible?
Any professional equipment that supports a 1 GbE RJ45 Ethernet link with static IP configuration will work (Fortinet, Stormshield, pfSense/OPNsense, MikroTik, Cisco, etc.). If in doubt, let us know your model in the eligibility request.
What is the response time in the event of an outage?
Our standard response time is 10 business hours, Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, excluding public holidays.
Is there a minimum commitment?
The 1 Gbps and 8 Gbps plans have no commitment: cancel at any time with one month's notice. The 2 Gbps plan requires a 12-month commitment.
Can I migrate my existing line?
Porting a fiber line depends on the original operator and the type of contract. Indicate your current situation in the eligibility request, and we will review the options for migration without downtime together.
Can you provide telephony or TV?
No. ASN CLOUD specializes in professional data connectivity. For telephony, our customers generally use their own IPBX/SIP solutions on top of the data link. No TV and no triple-play offer.
How does BYOIP work?
If you have your own IPv4 or IPv6 block (RIPE or another RIR), we can announce it in BGP via our AS204948 (or via your own ASN if you have one). Prerequisites: a valid LoA and prefix. Pricing: €20/mo excl. VAT per IPv4 block, €10/mo excl. VAT per IPv6 block, plus a one-time €100 excl. VAT setup fee (shared if you announce several blocks).
